Granted your will have to have a device, such as an iPad to use these planners and a stylus, but most people already have one these days.  You also might need to make a 1 time purchase of an note taking up such as GoodNotes (My favorite App) or some other note-taking app and lets not forget the purchase of the Beading Treasures Beading Planner itself.  These are all a one time purchase, compared to the need to purchase a physical beading planner whenever you run out of space and pages.

Reusability

Each page or template in any planner can be copied or duplicated. Whether it is a brand new page or you have filled it out and need to make a copy.  These pages can be freely moved.  You can put them in any order you like! Better yet… you can copy a page and paste it in any Digital planner you like! (GoodNotes App IOS).  Here is the best part, you can duplicate the planner itself and use it over and over.  It is a one time purchase.

Always have a Backup

Paper is a fragile material that easy become damaged or lost no way of having duplicates unless you make more hard copies by photocopying or printing.

With the digital planning you can have as many backups as you like and store them in a safe place or in the cloud.

What this means is that if something should happen to your device you can access all of your information from another another source.  Your information and hard work will be safe.

These days when you purchase a pattern it is usually in a digital format.  So we already have them on our devices and our PCs.  If you have your patterns organized in the Digital Pattern Planner available from (Beading treasures), in their respective categories it easy to find the pattern you are looking for!  You can even search for a bead color within the patterns.  Let’s say you want to see which pattern uses the Delica Bead color DB0003.  All you would need to do is search for it! You will then be able to see which pattern calls for it.  Not only that, notes in your own handwriting are searchable too!

Space allocated for projects

There are project clickable tabs on the right hand side of the planner, visible on every single page. Using the Beading planner is so easy and organized. Just copy any page you wish and past it in your project!  You can have as many pages in your project as you wish!  The tabs even come with an index page where you can write in the corresponding name.  What’s even better is that you can divide your projects into sections for better organization!  Each Project tab has 6 sections that you can name as you wish and separate your project into stages, Design etc.  When you use up all 12 tabs, you can either move those project pages somewhere else or delete them and free up some space, or duplicate and use a fresh copy of your beading planner.  The choices are endless.

Digital Line Guides

Beading Treasures has designed a Digital version of the line guide where only the line you are working on will be in focus, and in doing so guiding your eyes where they need to go but also making the marking of the charts and patterns so much easier.  These charts are adaptable to the patterns and charts in the Portrait layout as well as those in the landscape layout.

Text resize

You resize the text to any size you like and it will still be clear.  That means your text can be tiny and so you can fit so much on a page, never worrying about poor visibility.  You can zoom in at any time.

No Extra storage space needed!

Self Lit Pattern Pages

Have you ever struggled to read your patterns because of poor lighting?  My days of having a dedicated light for my patters are over.  I can adjust the brightness on my device (IPad) to my liking every single time.

Zooming in

You can easily zoom in to enlarge the pattern so that you can see it properly.  No need to print enlarged patterns because of poor visibility.

Better Pattern Quality

Sometimes the pattern printouts are not so clear, depending on your printer of course.  The clarity of the pattern is further compromised if the text is small in the wordchart or the grid cells are tiny.  With the digital pattern the patterns are as clear as they can possibly be, always.

Magnifying Box

Some note-taking apps such as GoodNotes offer a magnifying box that is free floating and you can move it wherever you need to on the page so that the pattern or wordchart is easily read.

Markers, Pens & Highlighters

You can use any thickness you like to mark your patterns and charts. And any color you like as well. Highlighters work so that they go behind whatever it is that you are highlighting.  I tend to use both the highlighters and the markers when marking off my patterns. And the best part is… you can delete any mistakes you make when marking off your pattern…. without leaving a trace. No smudges, no scribbling, no mess.

Your writing converted to text

If you are like me and you are not very fond of your own handwriting,  especially when writing with a stylus on a device,  Then there is a writing to text feature where you can choose any font you like and what every you type will appear in that font.  There are even some Handwriting fonts you can choose from!

No need to be tech savvy

Granted, you will need to learn how to use the note-taking app on your device but the learning curve is not high!  We try to make the use of the planners as easy and enjoyable as possible so that you can do everything you need to easily and enjoy doing so.
