Well several actually but we’ll just mention the main one here.
Bead tapestry artists today using the leading bead designing software on the market create designs that disappoint them in the end. The main reason being the software does not translate the bead color accurately.

While are so many things to take into account, an essential one is bead finishes. Heavy modifications need to be made to improve the design once the image has been translated into a pattern the software, color samples need to be woven to check for the optimum color use, errant beads need to be edited out, outlines need to be adjusted, etc.

So much goes into designing a tapestry that a bead program no matter how good it is, it’s just not capable of doing.
