t occurred to me that while I have added a bunch of Gems in the Vault, I haven’t really explained why I added them or what purpose they serve, or even how to use them! Not in much detail anyway. This section then “Vault Gems” will expand more on the Gems added and offer some how-to tips and ideas.

Motivational Wallpapers – Creativity
Sharing what is on my very own Desktop
I choose to be intentional about what I see and what I feed into my mental space. I like knowing that other people throughout history as well as today struggled with the same things we do today when it comes to creativity specifically.
The quotes I have chosen to put on my wallpapers often show that the artist/creative has struggled through the creative process as well but emerged victorious and shared his or her realizations with us.
Maybe reading the quotes will give you a better idea of what I’m talking about.
These wallpapers help to encourage me to continue on my creative path, to push through the hard times, take that step forward and create what gives me joy.
How could I not share with you what helps me so much?

Motivational Wallpapers – Handmade
Pleasure in Handmade items
Sometimes I like to be reminded why I design and bead weave tapestries on a loom. I mean it is a long process and requires time and effort, not to mention patience, so why keep it up?
These wallpapers help me to remember.
In a world where everything is manufactured, and readily available, there is a distinct pleasure in designing and creating something unique.
Not only that but owning something handmade and realizing the time, creativity, and talent that went into creating that item.
Bead weaving on a loom truly makes me happy and at the end of the process, I have something that I made with my very own hands to remind me of that. I sometimes look at a piece and remember other things that were happening in my life as I was creating it. It is like a photo almost, laden with memories and experiences, and thoughts that go with it.
When I am working on a piece I like to weave in good thoughts, good intentions, prayers, and love. Fanciful right? I know, but still. It brings me happiness and joy to do so. That’s another thing that differentiates handmade from manufactured pieces.
I have handmade pieces made by my mom, crochet.
I have some handmade pieces made by my older sister, ceramics.
I have some made by my younger sister, Hardanger.
At a time when I was far away from them physically, having these pieces with me helps in making me feel less alone.
Take a look at the Handmade wallpapers below.
These wallpapers are kept safe for you in the Vault.

Hi there! I’m Nedal.
I created Beading Treasures to make information about beading large tapestries more accessible, and in doing so encouraging creating of this amazing art form.
Weaving big can seem intimidating but by using some techniques it is totally doable, no more than that it is really enjoyable!
