Digital Planners are basically the digital version of Traditional pen-to paper planners, with a pen or stylus replacing the pen and a device such as an iPad or Tablet replacing the paper. 

To try out digital planning before you make any purchase, we have created a free notebook for you to try. This notebook will show you how the hyperlinks on the planners work and also how easily it is to use a digital planner.  It will also give you an idea as to the quality of the digital products offered on Beading Treasures.

All our digital planning product range have been tested and used on an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil.

However, our digital planning products are essentially PDF files which will work with any note-taking or annotation app that supports the use of a stylus to write with. 

At Beading Treasures we use the Goodnotes 5  app but there are other apps that you can use, for example Notability, Noteshelf, Zoomnotes, Xodo to mention a few.

Most Note-taking or annotation apps have an edit mode and a reading mode.  Hyperlinks generally do not work in the edit mode so make sure that the reading mode is selected.

In the Goodnotes App, this option is located on the top left of the top bar and looks like a pencil that has been crossed out. Hint: when the bar is blue it is in editing mode.

However, If you have deleted an original page of your digital planning products then the link to the deleted page will cease to work and then will be considered broken. 

No, at this time this function is not available.  Digital Planning products by their nature are PDF files which are very similar to traditional paper planners, albeit more powerful. If you wish to you can manually input your entries by copying or typing them into the Calendars.

No, at this time this function is not available.  Digital Planning products by their nature are PDF files that you use in conjunction with note-taking or annotation apps. The reminders or notification feature will then depend on the functionality of the app that you are using. This function is not available at this time.  If you wish to you can manually input your reminder or notification entries.

Our Digital Planning products will work with any PDF annotation app, but depending on the app it might work differently than intended.  We suggest you try out many apps and see which one is right for you.  Our Digital products are designed specifically for iPad with an Apple pencil and so that is what we recommend for using our digital planning products.

We recommend Goodnotes 5 app. We selected and use this app for many reasons. It has so much functionality that work well with our beading needs.  It allows for the writing, navigating custom pen colors, custom highlighter colors, adding images and zooming in. It is by far the best app for digital planning. 

For Android devices we recommend Xodo.

Yes you can, the drawback is the screen size.  You could always zoom in of course but that tends to get a bit annoying. It is more enjoyable to plan on a larger screen.

We recommend using an active stylus with your iPhone. An active stylus will aid with palm rejection while writing.

Yes, absolutely. Our digital planning products are essentially PDF files.  You can use them with an Android annotation app!

We recommend the FREE version of the Xodo PDF Reader and Editor app available on the Google Play Store.  Goodnotes is not available for android devices at this time.
We do not recommend updating to the Pro version however.

Absolutely, however our Digital Planning products were designed to be used with GoodNotes 5 and we know them to work perfectly with that app, and we highly recommend it for a number of reasons.
Please know that we only provide support or instructions on the iPad for the GoodNotes 5 app and the Xodo app for android.
